Anna Di Stasi, partner
Anna advises private and institutional collectors in the United States, Latin America, and Europe on the acquisition of Contemporary Art from Latin America. A former Specialist at Christie’s Latin American Paintings Department, she has over ten years of experience evaluating artworks from early 20th century modernism to contemporary Latin American Art.
Anna holds a Masters in the History of Art and Archeology from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University and a second Masters in Modern Art, Connoisseurship and the History of the Art Market from Christie’s Education, NY. She graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Psychology. A native of Madrid, she is fluent in English and Spanish and literate in French and Portuguese. Anna is a member of the Appraisers Association of America, ArtTable: The Leadership Organization for Professional Women in the Arts and Christie’s Alumni Association, NY.
Maria Antonieta Leininger, partner
Maria works directly with clients assisting them in the design and management of their art managed accounts. She is responsible for implementing comprehensive development strategies and partnerships with key alliances. In addition, Maria directs benchmarking research and art market analysis for contemporary art from Latin America.
An avid traveler and contemporary art enthusiast, she joined Latin Contemporary in 2011 after serving as VP of International Sales at Chase Manhattan Bank, NY and Banque Safdie (SP), amongst others. A native of Sao Paulo, Maria is fluent in English, Portuguese and French. She is a graduate of the Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado and the Lycée Pasteur. She holds an Executive MBA in Economics from USP, Universidade de Sao Paulo, Brazil.
